Spare ribs recipe
Baked spareribs - very tasty! The coleslaw is cabbage, pineapple chunks, balsamic vinegar (honey ginger from Monadnock Oil & Vinegar), a dash of red pepper flakes plus salt & pepper to taste.
SPARERIBS
Baked pork ribs from Joy of Cookingoptional: marinate from 1 hour to overnight in
- 1 ½ cups yellow mustard
- ½ cup ketchup
- ½ cup cider vinegar
- ½ cup sugar (or to taste – I left it out)
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T black pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
Spareribs: pat dry,
preheat oven to 325 degrees
put ribs on baking sheets, cover with foil
optional: set on top of slices of onion
- bake 1 ½ hours
- cover with sauce (above) or any barbeque sauce
- bake uncovered for another hour, until tender, basting twice
- cover with foil and let sit for 15 min before serving
